A night of unexpected surprises
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I enjoyed having a clean bathroom with all the essentials. I could watch TV comfortably in a nice chair instead of just the bed.
However, navigating the town was a bit chaotic, especially since I wasn't familiar with the layout. Plus, breakfast was taken down too early, which was disappointing.

quiet location off the highway, relatively clean room, good water pressure
The overall cleanliness needs serious attention!!! Cracked window glass, missing wall plates, and a broken coffee pot just don't cut it!!! Upgrade the furniture and fix the smelly carpets to attract more guests!!!

absoluetly dreadful experience. The breakfast was a joke, always out of coffee and juice. The fitness center? Non-existent. I almost gave a glowing review thanks to the clean room, but the lack of ANY amenities left me feeling utterly neglected, like my comfort didn’t matter at all. Why should I be treated like this?

We had a decent stay here with our family and dogs. The location was great for checking out the local scene like the Choctaw McAlester Casino, where the evening live entertainment was a hit with the kids. The room was spacious, allowing everyone some breathing room.
My kids wished there were more dining options nearby.

The king suite I stayed in was spacious, which felt great. Shower pressure impressed me. it washed away the long day's fatigue. I appreciated the mini-fridge for keeping drinks cold. The mattress, while okay, leaned a tad soft for my liking, but the pillows were really comfortable. Breakfast offered yogurt and muffins. A waffle maker that worked well. However, I faced quite a few issues. The internet went down completely, preventing me from easily working. The hallways and lobby felt poorly lit, giving an unsettling vibe. The breakfast area struggled with restocking. by the time I arrived, many items were out, and I noticed the clerk was glued to her phone instead of managing things. Also, the gym equipment wasn’t functioning, which was disappointing. The overall cleanliness wasn’t up to par. the hallways were littered with trash, and outside trash cans were overflowing. This hotel has great potential, but it really needs better management and upkeep.

My stay at Quality Inn & Suites Mcalester On Hwy 69 & 270 was enjoyable. The King Room offered plenty of space, and the sheets felt fresh and clean. I particularly loved the helpful amenities like the chair, making it easy to relax and watch TV without being confined to the bed. Plus, the shower pressure was fantastic and refreshing after a long day of travel.
The hotel appears to be under renovation, and some areas could use an upgrade.

Good spot for a quick stay
Had a chill night here. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was decent but don't be late. they start taking food down way too early! Found a cool picnic area outside to relax for a bit. Only thing is, the layout of the town is a bit confusing if you're not familiar with it.

It was just a fine choice for a couple of nights in Mcalester with good price value. The outdoor picnic area gave a nice spot to unwind after a long day. Make sure to ask about the Wi-Fi as it can be slow at times.
